The quartz may be resistant to stains or moisture, but care should be exercised when handling hot pans or baking sheets. Quartz can handle some heat, for a short period of time, but it is best to use heat pads under hot pans. When high heat is set on quartz for a prolonged time, it can cause serious discoloration, burns, and damage. 

Quartz Cleaning 
Using non-abrasive cleaners to keep your quartz countertops clean is the best option and a warm water and vinegar solution will work best. Wipe off the counter top with a sponge or soft cloth.
